Today Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistalker Corporation released a new trailer of its upcoming game Terra Wars.

The trailer showcases one of the dioramas that is being used for the game, the animations of which are entirely created in claymation. Basically, developers create clay figurines of the characters, and then take hundreds of pictures of them to be used as animation frames.

At the end of the trailer, we also get to see a new character part of the game's cast, even if no information has been released about him just yet.

As a matter of fact, we know very little of Terra Wars for the moment, besides the fact that it's part of the newly-named Terra World franchise, but Mistwalker promised new information coming after the launch of Terra Battle 2 later this year.

If you want to see more, you can check out another video showing the making of the game's claymation, and the original announcement. You can also enjoy a trailer of Terra Battle 2 released just yesterday.

Terra Wars will release for iOS, Android and PC. It's bein co-developed by Azrest, a Yokohama-based studio that worked on the visuals of the original Terra Battle, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and is currently developing Hey! Pikmin with Nintendo.
