Tetris Will be Coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One for its 30th Anniversary

Ubisoft has worked out a deal with the Tetris Company to bring the classic puzzle game to current gen consoles.

Tetris has been released on many consoles and devices since it came out in the late 80s. Companies like EA and Nintendo have made deals with the Tetris Company in the past and now Ubisoft will  be in charge of distributing the game. Right now, we don’t know what changes Ubisoft plans to make to this edition of Tetris.

Personally speaking, this news makes me happy. Tetris was one of my childhood obsessions when I first got my Gameboy in 1990. I’ve played many iterations of Tetris over the years and it never gets old. I’m definitely going to grab this for the Playstation 4 when it’s released.

Stay tuned for more news on the current gen version of Tetris.
