Square Enix took the time during TGS to announce Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix for the PlayStation 3.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix includes the HD remasters of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Japan only release of the game with extra features and bosses, and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. Also included will be Kingdom Hearts 356/2 Days cutscenes that will be able to be viewed in HD in a way that presents the story of the game. Additional feature includes the addition of trophies for both games.

Kingdom Hearts fans have much to look forward to in 2013 when this game releases in Japan. No word on a western release yet but given the history of the franchise I would not be surprised if it comes westward.
