One of the rare surprises of this year's gamescom was the presence of the then unknown title, Puppeteer. Developed by Sony's Japan Studio, Puppeteer's reveal trailer drew quite a bit of attention (which it fully deserved). Now a new trailer has surfaced from this year's Tokyo Game Show, which serves as an extended version of the initial gamescom trailer.

Puppeteer is a new IP from Sony and quite frankly, it looks glorious. The colour, the sound, the concept, all of its strange elements have me eager to see more, or better yet, just start playing.

For those who are hearing about the game for the first time, Puppeteer puts players in the shoes of a young boy named Kutaro, who unfortunately for him, is transformed into a puppet by a Moon Bear King. If that wasn't bad enough, the King also decides to devour the poor boy's head. Players must assist Kutaro on his journey to reclaim his head and somehow find a way home, with the help of a very special pair of scissors. To learn more check out the new trailer below.

A release date for Puppeteer has yet to be announced. Stay tuned for more news on this highly promising new IP.
