TGS 2013: Japanese News Broadcast Shows PS4 vs Xbox One at TGS, Gameplay Footage and a Monster Hunter Event

on September 19, 2013 12:54 PM

Japanese TV can be strange, and this broadcast from the Fuji News Network is both interesting and strange at the same time.

It shows a direct confrontation between Xbox One and PS4 at the Tokyo Game show, with a glimpse on gameplay footage of Kinect Sports Rivals and PlayRoom ¬†(the host really seems to have an inordinate amount of fun riding¬†Kinect Sports Rivals’ jet ski) used together with the newly announced PlayStation App.

It also goes ahead to show a wacky Monster Hunter-themed festival held at an onsen (hot springs) location. That’s how crazy for Monster Hunter the Japanese are. You can check it out just below.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
