Thank You IP Task Force!

For all of you gamers out there who love your games reasonably priced and made with huge budgets, give a big thanks right now to the Justice Department for forming the new Department of Justice Task Force on Intellectual Property. It is thanks to the protection of our intellectual properties that you are able to see so many great games come out year after year.

The Entertainment Software Association, on behalf of U.S. Computer and Video Game publishers, wants you to know that abuse of intellectual property such as pirating, distribution of pirated games, or the modification of current consoles to create illegal backups hurts the industry. This is not alone limited to piracy. Any video game developers who have ever had their assets mis-used or stolen for personal gain deserve justice as well. It is the blood, sweat, and tears of the game developers work and it is their passion that brings you amazing games. Pay for what you play and to go out of your way to be original even if you are just an amateur developer messing around for fun.
