The Amazing Spider-Man 2 film has become notorious for its developments over the past few months: the omission of Mary-Jane Watson's scenes, the replacement of first film's writer, and what looks like a total of three to four villains in the film. There has been so much news and discussion that we have not heard that much about the film's video game adaptation, until now.

While conversing with commentors on the PlayStation Blog, Executive Producer at Beenox Stephanie Gravel, revealed that gamers, "will be able to play the PS4 version of the game on your PS Vita using remote play, with optimized controls." Additionally, the alternate costumes that have been popular in Spider-Man games ever since the PlayStation 1 iteration will return, as Ms. Gravel confirmed there, "will be more unlockbable suits in this game than in the previous one. All costumes haves perks and can be upgraded."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is being developed by Beenox and will be published by Activision for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC in the Spring of this year.
