The Binding of Isaac Gets a Price and a Steam Page

Loyal fans patiently waiting for Team Meat’s next game, The Binding of Isaac, can ramp up their excitement even more, as half of the team, Edmund McMillen, revealed yesterday that the game is now up on Steam. On top of that, it’s going to be sold for a ridiculously cool $4.99, and should still be available in late August.

The Binding of Isaac looks to be a roguelike Zelda-esque dungeon crawler in the same spirit and style as their massive breakout hit Super Meat Boy; believe me when I say that I’m unbelievably hyped to see the Team Meat guys try to tackle the roguelike genre. Check out The Binding of Isaac on Steam.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
