KING Art Games and THQ Nordic released a new patch for The Dwarves on Xbox One which improves the game's performance.

You can read the patch notes below:

  • Fixed a bug that under certain circumstances overtaxed the audio processor, resulting in stutter or freezes at some locations
  • Fixed possible audio distortions in a few locations
  • Fixed lag spikes that could occur in random locations, for example Mifurdania Marketplace or outside of Lot-Ionan’s Vault
  • Fixed a glitch that could make it hard to select a waypoint on the world map

They also revealed that they are looking for a new version of the Unity Game Engine for the game that will shorten load times and guarantee gameplay stability in a future patch. KING Art Games is aiming to get this patch out very early next year. That update will enhance The Dwarves on all platforms.

DualShockers reviewed The Dwarves and gave it a 6.5 saying "While the game consists of many great ideas and mechanics, the execution is ultimately lackluster almost across the entire board. It’s clear a lot of love went into this game, but not enough polish."

The Dwarves is available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Mac, and Linux.
