Bethesda published today on it’s official blog the full details on the PC requirements for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim through the twitter account of the Vice-President of PR Pete Hines.

If you were on the fence (this is for you Chad) between upgrading your PC for Skyrim or not, your tribulations have finally come to an end.

According to Hines, the minimum requires specs will be as follows:

Win XP/7/Vista (32 or 64 bit), dual core 2GB, 2GB RAM, DX9c video card w/ 512MB RAM, Internet Access for Steam activation

The recommended specs will be:

Win XP/7, quad-core Intel/AMD CPU, 4GB RAM, 6GB HD, DX compat snd card, DX9 vid card w/ 1 GB. GTX 260/Radeon 4890 or higher

The minimum specs will allow you to play the game, the recommended specs will let you play on high, but not on Ultra. As Hines says:

You’ll want beefier rig for that.

My “beefier rig” is ready and waiting, Pete. Bring it on!
