Mouldy Toof Studios and Team17 released a new trailer for The Escapists 2 today that unveils the U.S.S Anomaly, a brand new interstellar space prison, which makes it even harder to escape from than ever before.

The U.S.S. Anomaly was designed to help solve the overcrowding problems of many of Earth's prisons. This prison is much different than any one that has come before it as it has robotic guards and dogs, jet packs, and an A.I. warden, with the easiest and most practical way to escape being by space shuttle.

For those who don't know, the Escapists games task players to escape a variety of unique and wacky prisons. In order to get though, players must adhere to a strict prison schedule, avoiding unwanted attention of guards, and only crafting weapons and tools from within the prison for escape when it the least risky. One's inmate can get a job or perform favors for fellow inmates in order to gain cash, which they can use to to purchase supplies to help themselves. The Escapists 2 stands out from the first title as it gives people the option to play with up to four players, both locally and online.
