The First Execution Move for Ryse: Son of Rome is Revealed But Needs a Name

on September 6, 2013 5:39 PM

Microsoft has released a new trailer showcasing one of five executions moves in Ryse: Son of Rome. Ryse: Son of Rome will be released exclusively for Xbox One at launch (November 22nd).

In the trailer, we see a rather awesome execution move in which time slows down and the controlled character slips through a soldier’s defenses and fatally stabs him. As an extra treat, the same controlled character then cuts off another soldier’s arm. However, this move hasn’t been named yet, and for good reason.

Microsoft is hosting a little contest with Gamestop, challenging gamers to come up with a cool name for the five execution moves. The best names will be chosen and actually used in the game. You can participate by following @GameStop and sending entries to the official Twitter hashtag. The first move’s name can be sent here, which is #RyseMove1. Gamestop will tweet a new video every day and participants will have 48 hours to submit a new entry. Winners will also receive a copy of Ryse, a T-shirt and a signed poster. The contest ends September 27th.
