After a successful inaugural debut in December 2014, The Game Awards creator and producer Geoff Keighley has much for viewers of this year’s 2015 ceremony to be excited about, as Keighley shared several new details on what to expect from this year’s show.

In a new video released by the show’s official YouTube channel, Keighley announced that both Deadmau5 and CHVRCHES will be this year’s musical guests, and while last year provided viewers with a memorable performance by Imagine Dragons and famed Nintendo composer Koji Kondo, Keighley teased that Deadmau5 in particular will provide ‘something very special” to viewers of this year’s show.

Alongside the musical guest announcements, Keighley also shared more details on the ceremony itself, with tickets for the event now being available to purchase. In particular, Keighley expressed that this year’s show is aiming for a 2-hour run time (compared to the almost three hours that last year’s show ran), and mentioning that while the show will indeed be “tighter,” he is still aiming for theĀ “same amount of heart” that last year provided.

The Game Awards 2015 will take place on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 at 6pm PT and will also be livestreamed through Twitch, YouTube, and other channels: tickets for the event are available to purchase now.
