Kabam has partnered with Lionsgate to release The Hunger Games: Panem Rising, the official iOS and Android game tie-in of the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

The Hunger Games: Panem Rising is a role-playing card mobile game, where players immerse themselves in the world of Panem.

The action starts right in the middle of the rebellion against President Snow; it is up to players to explore each district while battling Peacekeepers and other associated enemies as they collect coins and sparks. Assuming the role of a resistance leader, players will recruit a team to aid Katniss Everdeen in the rebellion against the Capitol.

Mike Li, co-founder and general manager of Kabam’s Beijing Studio explained,

From exploring Districts to recruiting and collecting fan-favorite characters from all three films such as Katniss, Peeta and Gale, fans will appreciate The Hunger Games: Panem Rising’s authenticity and enjoy the strategic gameplay.

Players will be able to train and equip their squads with special and valuable items found while exploring the diverse Districts of Panem, each having their own unique traits and abilities.

Former genius and a woman of mystery and power, whose power is exceeded only by her mystery, Dana Abercrombie has been playing video games since birth (yes birth...we did say "genius"). Despite her secret desire of wanting to give it all up to become a gorgeous billionaire, Dana is most passionate about video games and films often times getting in many heated debates resulting in being thrown out of many gatherings. Despite having a degree in English AND Journalism (multi-tasking FTW!) from the University at Albany-SUNY, she is currently interested in perusing a degree at Yale Law School, because one should never give up on a dream of becoming a gorgeous billionaire...and knowing how to sue someone as a result of those heated debates
