Players of Destiny know all too the well of the game’s addictive cycle of upgrading weapons and collecting new gear, and luckily just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, the Iron Banner event will once again return starting today.
Bungie announced through Twitter that the Iron Banner event will be back in Destiny on all platforms starting today, coming a few weeks after the previous event coinciding with the release of the game’s second expansion last month, “House of Wolves.”
The previous Iron Banner event offered players with the vital new resource Etheric Light, providing players the chance to upgrade their Legendary gear, and while it’s unclear at the moment if Etheric Light will be available this time around, Bungie’s tweet noted that players will have the chance to earn gauntlets, chest armor, a machine gun, and for the first time ever the Legendary pulse rifle, Skorri’s Revenge.
Destiny is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360, with the latest Iron Banner event in the game kicking off today.
Iron Banner returns tomorrow at 10AM. Earn Gauntlets, Chest, Machinegun and for the first time ever… the Pulse Rifle (Skorri’s Revenge).
