Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner's cult classic The Last Express is available to buy for the first time in over a decade.

The "Digital Collector's Edition" from DotEmu, a french publisher similar to Good Old Games, costs $9.99 and comes with the game's soundtrack, a walkthrough and making-of-video. While not very well known outside of adventure game nerds, the possibility for a feature film based on The Last Express has been bandied about by RoboCop and Total Recall director Paul Verhoeven.

Mechner is proud of the game and even has an entire page devoted to it in his online portfolio. This is not the first time the game has been available to play since its release. Games-on-demand service Gametap featured the title as part of its subscription service at one time, though the DotEmu release is the first time The Last Express has been available to own.
