The Last of Us: Left Behind Goes Gold, Finishes Development and Preps for Release on February 14th

The Last of Us was well-regarded as one of the top games of 2013, and this year the developers at Naughty Dog are giving us a little bit of love on Valentine’s Day with the release of the game’s first (and only) add-on DLC, The Last of Us: Left Behind.

Luckily, with the DLC only two weeks away, The Last of Us director Bruce Straley sent out a celebratory tweet along with a picture of the game as a selectable option on the main menu, along with the caption “GOLD!” to indicate that The Last of Us: Left Behind has officially gone gold and finished development.

With the story DLC for The Last of Us now officially finished with its development, the project can move forward into certification and distribution for its impending release. Succinct, simple, but a nice tease before we get our hands on the next chapter in the story of The Last of Us.
