With The Last of Us still receiving acclaim and awards nearly a year after its initial release and an upcoming re-release on PS4, a big update seems to be on its way for TLOU owners, and sooner rather than later.

Naughty Dog announced on its blog that an incoming patch for The Last of Us, titled 1.07 and coming in at about 151MB, will be arriving very soon (within the next day or so) to the game and include a host of new content and fixes to the title.

Specifically, the new patch will be bringing the “Grounded” difficulty setting for the single-player campaign, bringing “super-aggressive AI” that is only meant “for the toughest of the hardcore.” Aside from the new difficulty setting, the patch will also be bringing various other content/changes both big and small, such as additional Trophies (16 new in total), and over 40 bug fixes – details can be seen in the patch notes here.
