Ever since the initial announcement of the game at the Spike Video Game Awards in 2011, The Last of Us has enjoyed a healthy and consistent amount of hype and positive attention leading up to its release this May. Naughty Dog appears to not only be capitalizing on this good favor, but doubling down it.

Recently unveiled on the PlayStation Blog were both the “Survival” and “Post-Pandemic” editions of the game. Both will contain a steelbook case, The Last of Us – American Dreams #1 comic, Naughty Dog sticker sheet, and the “Sight & Sounds” DLC pack. A copy of the The Last of Us artbook is exclusive to the Survival edition.

The Post-Pandemic edition – exclusive to GameStop – comes complete with every item above as well as a statue of Joel and Ellie in lieu of the artbook. The set also comes with the “Survival” DLC pack. The Survival and Post-Pandemic Editions have been priced at $79.99 and $159.99, respectively.

The Last of Us is being developed by Naughty Dog and will be launched on the PlayStation 3 on May 7th, 2013. Inventories of both DLC packs can be found below:
