The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Series amiibo Revealed, Coming 2017

on June 14, 2016 2:55 PM

Today, Nintendo revealed three new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo: Rider Link, Archer Link, and the Guardian. While they will all work in the newly unveiled game, the functions of the three new amiibo were not revealed.

They also confirmed that the Wolf Link amiibo will be compatible with the game.  Using the amiibo will make Wolf Link a companion of Link. The companion wolf will start out with three hearts, but if people scanned the amiibo in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD he will have as many hearts as Link had in that game. Also worth noting, the Wolf Link amiibo can only be used once a day.

You can look at some screenshots and watch a trailer about the Amiibo below. This series of amiibo will come out alongside The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 2017 for Wii U and NX.
