Nintendo has kept true to its promise made to fans last week and has provided us a new glimpse at the landscapes featured in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild today.

Seen above and capturing a snowy scene alongside a campfire, the new look keeps in line with the game's recent holiday website reveal, featuring protagonist Link riding his shield down a similar setting.

Set to be “exploring the Hyrulean landscape”, Nintendo hasn't specified how often these glimpses into the franchise’s new world will take place, only that environments will take precedence. We got to see two updates to the game last week, one the aforementioned landscape, the other a pair of concept art images.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is set to release for both Wii U and the Nintendo Switch next year. At the time of this writing, an exact release date remains unknown, but some footage of the game running on Nintendo's newest console can be found here.
