Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience Link and his world through his eyes? Thanks to developer Ubiquitron this passing thought is now a reality.

Ubiquitron is working on a first-person remake of the 1986 beloved classic The Legend of Zelda, fittingly titled The Legend of Zelda VR for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.

As you can see in the gallery and video, everything is virtually identical to the original NES classic. The project is now available in beta form but just includes the overworld and first dungeon.

The game is expected to release for free in March for PC.
