The Longest Journey, the classic adventure game from Funcom, is now available to mobile users on iOS.

First released on PCs back in 1999, The Longest Journey is considered by many to be one of the greatest adventure games ever released and is now available for a new generation to experience 15 years later. The new iOS version dubbed The Longest Journey: Remastered offers new controls customized for touch devices, and also includes a new intro and outro narrated by series creator Ragnar Tørnquist. Spanning over 150 locations with more than 50 hours of content, the game features a gripping storyline and a huge cast of fully-voiced characters just like the original release.

“There is no doubt The Longest Journey lends itself perfectly to mobile and tablet devices, it plays really well,” said Tørnquist in an official statement. “This release will open up The Longest Journey universe to a whole new audience, but it’s also a great way for veterans to experience the adventure again.”

You can pick up The Longest Journey: Remastered for your iPhone or iPad now for $8.99 on the Apple App Store.
