The Making of BEYOND: Two Souls Video Focuses on Gameplay

Sony has released a new making of trailer for BEYOND: Two Souls. The video features insight from writer and director David Cage, among others, who discuss how Quantic Dream designed the game and used motion capture in a hopes of providing a more realistic and immersive gameplay experience.

The motion capture is very impressive and allows realistic results as they map out the actors’ faces and body movements despite the limited props that were used to map out the game. While we’ve seen the use of motion capture in films, Ellen Page points out this experience allowed for a freer performance.

Even though I still didn’t try Beyond Two Souls and I can’t say anything for sure, judging by this video I can say it looks well executed and it has definitely caught my attention.

BEYOND: Two Souls will release October 8th for Playstation3.

Former genius and a woman of mystery and power, whose power is exceeded only by her mystery, Dana Abercrombie has been playing video games since birth (yes birth...we did say "genius"). Despite her secret desire of wanting to give it all up to become a gorgeous billionaire, Dana is most passionate about video games and films often times getting in many heated debates resulting in being thrown out of many gatherings. Despite having a degree in English AND Journalism (multi-tasking FTW!) from the University at Albany-SUNY, she is currently interested in perusing a degree at Yale Law School, because one should never give up on a dream of becoming a gorgeous billionaire...and knowing how to sue someone as a result of those heated debates
