The last 24 hours before the release of P.B. Winterbottom found developers, The Odd Gentlemen in a very confounding predicament. They had stated over their Twitter that they would be doing a shot every half hour until the games release. The sheer excitement must have drowned out the alcohol induced coma a normal person would have had, because The Odd Gentlemen were still tweeting when the game hit the market place and even shouted out the first person on the leaderboards.

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is a delightfully charming game about P.B. Winterbottom and his addiction to pie. This infatuation sets the story in action, with Mr. Winterbottom becoming able to clone himself. The clones are going to be key to completing a wide array of puzzles and the number increases as you progress through the game.

The style of the game is something that was inspired by the developer’s love for the silent movie era. The art style is very reminiscent of A Nightmare Before Christmas, but in the black and white film style. This is something unique and has a ton of charm.

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is available on Xbox Live now for 800 Microsoft points. Get it!
