If you really want to sell a game, take a tried-and-true concept, insert a scantily-clad heroine and let her loose on enemies in exotic environments. Konami's definitely going the safe route with Blades of Time, a hack-and-slash adventure featuring the aforementioned femme fatale. The newest trailer for the March 15 release features a whole lot of gameplay footage, much of which has Ayumi, our protagonist, discovering her ability to rewind time and putting it to good use.

You'll watch her kick ass on a snow peak, in a lush jungle and in many sacred looking places. Yep, it seems Ayumi will take the action to as many places as Sam I Am would have a plate of green eggs and ham. But will the game play as good as it looks? In less than a month we'll find out.
