The Order: 1886 PS4 Demo Is an “Ancient” Build, Dev “Can’t Wait” to Show More; Gets Epic Booth at PGW

The Order: 1886‘s current show floor demo has been shown at basically every event since E3, and even earlier during a quick livestream on Twitch. While impressive, many are surprised that Sony hasn’t pulled a new demo out of its collective hat since.

Just as we’re eager to see more, Ready at Dawn CTO Andrea Pessino is eager to show more, as he mentioned on Twitter.

Here’s a translation from Italian:

Thanks! It’s an “ancient” build unfortunately – I can’t wait to show you more ; )

Unfortunately what’s shown is normally not decided by developers, but by Sony itself. Luckily the house of PlayStation will host the PlayStation experience in Vegas in December, and hopefully they won’t bring the “ancient” demo there as well, but a new one.

Incidentally, where The Order lacks in brand new gameplay, it certainly compensates with sleek booth props. Sony has a massive presence this week at the Paris Games Week, and the booth dedicated to The Order: 1886 is quite epic, probably the best I’ve seen so far since the game’s show floor debut at E3.
