The Order: 1886 Will Have Open Areas, Won’t Be Just a Corridor Game According to Insider

After talking about what we can expect from The Order: 1886 at E3, NeoGAF user Shinobi602, that is acquiring quite the reputation of having solid industry sources, dropped another piece of information many were curious about due to the gameplay demo we saw a couple days ago, located mostly in a narrow corridor.

Also 100% there will be open areas (not saying this just because of the concept art). This isn’t just “corridor after corridor”.

Asked if he knows that for certain, he confirmed. That means that the information is quite solid, as due to NeoGAF’s rules he’ll be required to back it up with the moderation team or be banned on the spot.

Despite that, as with all the information we receive from insiders like Shinobi, no matter how credible, we should take this with a pinch of salt until official word comes from the developer. That said, the presence of open areas would definitely address the biggest concern I had about the game, so I definitely hope Shinobi’s information is accurate.
