Nintendo has announced that the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon themed New Nintendo 3DS XL console is coming to North America.

Dubbed the Solgaleo Lunala Black Edition, the console features a sleek black finish and white designs of the Sun and Moon cover Pokemon. The unit was previously confirmed to launch in Japan (of course) and Europe, but now we now fans in North America will be able to easily obtain the console as well. I wonder why they didn't release two consoles the way they did for Pokemon X and Y.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are due in November.
