Sony revealed at a press event today that over one Million consoles were sold in the Middle East region.

General Manager SCE MENA, Robert Fisser, thanked the Arabian fans for their support, and mentioned that all of this success is thanks to the Arabic language support in the PS4’s UI, and the help of the developers localizing their games to fit the region.

Fisser was happy by the fact that Sony’s presence in the Middle East is growing, and that they will do their best to ensure that growth continues. He even said that they already have the stock ready for the next million.

“On to the next million, I already have the stock ready!” Fisser said.

I have to say that I am one of those 1 Million sales, and I am excited to see if Microsoft is willing to share its numbers, since the Xbox One presence here is also pretty strong.

My main and favorite thing to do in my life is play video games on my PS4 and admire the work that has been done in each game whether it's an AAA or an indie. Games are games no matter how many people develop it, it's the passion and hard work behind it. I am a crazy fan of Game of Thrones and love to read National Geographic magazines.
