Ubisoft recently announced the details of their first DLC pack for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed III. Titled “The Tyranny of King Washington”, the alternate history DLC pack will take a look at a dark “what if” of American history. The details are as follows: “As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the┬ádesire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new king is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend.”

To accompany the first details, Ubisoft announced that their planned five DLC packs can be bought at a collective discount with a Season Pass. The season pass will total $29.99 (or 2400 Microsoft points) and will grant players access to the five DLC episodes a week before people who buy them individually. Nothing like a little regicide to get the blood pumping.
