Yesterday we reported that Knut Avenstroup Haugen won the award for the Best Original Song – Video Game category with “The Coast of Ardashir” from Age of Conan at the Hollywood Music in Media AwardsToday we learn that the award for the Best original Score -Video Game category went to an unexpected winner: Gerard Marino for the soundtrack of Spiderman: Edge Of Time.

The score of the latest Spiderman video game had to compete with some quite prestigious nominees: Dead Space 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, James Bond 007: Blood Stone, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine , Rage and Dragon Age 2, but it still came up on top.

Considering the currently rather disastrous Metacritic score, I seriously doubt the game will get many other awards this year, but at least it got one. Not everyone can say that.
