The Secret World Celebrates First Month With Free to Play Weekend

on July 27, 2012 12:24 PM

On Friday, August the 3rd The Secret World will be one month old, and during the developer livestream that just ended Funcom announced that, to celebrate the occasion, the game is going to be free to play for the weekend.

Starting on August the 3rd Funcom will open the floodgates, and everyone that registered an account on the official site (or that will register one in the coming week) will be able to download and play The Secret World for free for the whole weekend.

During the event players will also receive free  fireworks to celebrate in style, while a mission-solving challenge will let them win in-game prizes.

If you’re still on the fence about getting the game (you can read my review here), this may be the perfect time to give it a try.
