The Titanfall Xbox One Console Was Real But it Was Axed Due to Cost According to Insider

Yesterday an alleged insider leaked the mock up picture of a custom Titanfall Xbox One console. You can see it in the picture above.

According to industry insider Pete Dodd, also known as FamousMortimer (well know for several leaks that turned into reality) the console was real, but it was axed mostly due to the cost of the operation, leaving on the table only the limited edition controller that has been officially announced.

According to Dodd, the insider that yesterday leaked a large amount of information on Microsoft’s plans is possibly a scorned former Microsoft employee, as his information on the lovely¬†Titanfall console was accurate, but old.

As usual we should take the word of insiders with a pinch of salt, and this definitely throws a shadow of doubt on the rest of the information leaked yesterday, but if the console was indeed a thing, it’s a real pity, because it looked awesome.
