Earlier this year, developer LKA has announced that its psychological horror game set in an Italian psychiatric asylum, The Town of Light, was coming to PS4, after previously being announced for Xbox One and releasing on PC back in 2016.

Fast-forward to today, and developer LKA has released a new behind-the-scenes look video of the game featuring studio head Luca Dalcò talking about the creation of Renée, protagonist in The Town of Light.

In The Town of Light, you play as Renée, a 16-year-old girl who suffers from the symptoms of mental illness. She is said to be searching for answers to the many questions from her past, whilst exploring the place where she spent most of her youth. In the game, you will guide Renée through an emotional and dark journey "where the lines between entertainment, storytelling and reality blur."

The Town of Light is set to release on Xbox One and PS4 sometime in Q2 2017 both digitally and physically. Below, you can check out the new video and learn more about Renée.
