NIS America has made good on their promise to bring Hyperdimension Neptunia MK-2 stateside. Fans of the RPG in North America and Europe can get their hands on the game this coming February for the PlayStation 3. The game features videogame consoles personified into (rather sexy) human beings who protect the world known as Gamindustri. Clever, I know.
MK-2 stars the younger sisters of the original Console Patron Units as they embark on a quest to free their older siblings from the clutches of Arfoire, the Criminal of the Free World and longtime enemy of Gamindustri. Players will guide CPU Candidates Nepgear, IF, and Compa through this classic-style RPG and battle system in an old-fashioned tale of good versus evil. New additions to MK-2 include a free-roaming style battle system, a streamlined combo system during battle, new item synthesis and the ability to craft items and weapons, and a Coliseum to test and train against more powerful enemies.
