The Witcher 2 Producer Tomek Gop Quits the Gaming Industry

Fans of the critically acclaimed RPG The Witcher 2 are quite used to see the friendly face of Tomek Gop in promotional clips or during presentations. Unfortunately, as CD Projekt’s Lukasz Kukawski confirmed to VG24/7, Gop decided to leave the software house and the gaming industry in general.

As a PC gamer that’s currently enjoying The Witcher 2 massively, I’d like to thank Tomek for his part in the creation of the game, and wish him best of luck for the future.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
