The Witcher 2 Version 2.0 To Release in September

on August 17, 2011 6:00 PM

Remember when the first Witcher title received an enhancement in the form of The Witcher Enhanced Edition? Well, now its sequel is receiving similar treatment with The Witcher 2 Version 2.0. On September 29th, be prepared for an overhauled game experience that features some technical upgrades, a tutorial system, an Arena Mode and “Dark Mode,” which is similar to “Insane Mode” but with saves allowed and the addition of dark items to the campaign, that will alter the campaign in some way or another. If you’ve been waiting on buying The Witcher 2, it is probably your best bet to wait until September 29th for this updated version to hit the market. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until 2012 for an Xbox version of the game.
