The Witcher 3’s First Expansion Heart of Stone “Almost Ready;” Good News Coming for Gwent Lovers

During a The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt panel broadcasted from PAX Prime in Seattle, CD Projekt RED’s Travis Currit mentioned a couple interesting things about the future of the game.

First of all, we learn that the first expansion “Heart of Stone” is “almost ready, and shaping up really nicely.” As you may already know, Heart of Stone will come out in October, and will include over ten hours of gameplay.

Secondly, asked if CD Projekt would ever release a stand-alone version of the in-game collectible card game Gwent, Currit mentioned that he’d pass that request to the development team, but then he teased that there are “good news” coming for those who love Gwent.

Your guess is as good as mine on the nature of those news, but as a Gwent lover myself, I can’t wait to hear them.
