Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Continues to Impress with this New Footage

on October 17, 2011 6:00 PM

Today we have for you some new footage from the Final Fantasy-based rhythm game that SquareEnix is developing for the 3DS – Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. Simply put – it looks like a heckova lot of fun and I want it bad. There are three different segments shared in the video (which you can find after the jump). The first is more of the iconic dance scene between Rinoa and Squal in Final Fantasy VIII. After that you get a nendoroid-like Lighting traversing a 2D field as the music plays on. Finally, a battle which looks to include characters from FFVIII, as well.

Let us know what you think. I might actually hang on to my 3DS just for this game. Don’t judge me.
