Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Features Four Player Co-op Mode

on February 8, 2012 8:00 PM

Another little nugget of information has slipped about the adorable music game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. I think multiplayer was rumored around the time of the game’s reveal, but we haven’t received any solid details on it until now. Players will be able to invite up to three friends to join them in the Chaos Temple.

This will apparently be a kind of ‘boss rush’ mode, allowing the four of you to play together against Final Fantasy villains such as Omega and Ultima Weapons and Shinryu, all to the dramatic Song of Darkness. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has no North American release date yet but launches in Japan on Valentine’s Day.
