Sony has been selling HDD covers for the PS4 for a while in Japan, and they just recently started in North America, yet those covers may seem a little gaudy for those who prefer a sleek and clean design.

Strolling around Akihabara, I found something that is very possibly the coolest way to customize a PS4.

The Japanese manufacturer Cyber Gadget released a set of HDD covers in four colors, but what sets them apart is that they're see-through, and when they're assembled on your PS4 they let you see the hard disk bay and the surrounding protective shield surrounding it, giving the console a definitely fetching mechanical look.

The accessories, called Scratch Guard Cover, are actually designed to make scratches and dirt less visible than on the original glossy cover.

While a western release has not been announced, it's possible to find them at some retailers that ship to the west, like AmiAmi.
