Today we've been blessed with a couple of screens from the upcoming fighting game crossover Street Fighter X Tekken. These screens confirm that the characters teased in those trailers last week were indeed Lili of Tekken and Zangief of Street Fighter. This is the first time we've been able to see them in-game. Now, considering that Capcom most likely reused the Zangief character model from the SFIV games, he looks very much as you expected him to.
Lili on the other hand doesn't seem to translate too well with the game's graphics or art style. She looks clunky, decidedly rotund, and she has her mother's hips, which Lili has never had. The effortlessly graceful presence she had in Tekken 6 seems absent, but we won't know that for sure until we play it. Her appearance isn't flat out fugly though. Perhaps she'll look better in motion. Hit the break for the new screens. SF X T is expected to launch near March of next year for HD consoles and the PS Vita.
