Welcome to the latest installment of This Day in Gaming History! In this segment, we take a nostalgic look back at some of our favorite (or not so favorite) gaming titles and say, Happy Birthday! We also want to know what your best and sometimes worst memories of the title were.

Today, we look back on the infamous Sega CD.  On this day, 22 years ago, the Genesis add-on was released in North America.   With CD-Rom becoming the "next big thing" in the early 90's, Sega produced the Sega CD as an extension to Genesis owner's without having to purchase a whole new console.  This didn't really pan out as well as they'd hoped, however, it would be a game changer for years to come.  Even without the success that was expected, Sega CD is still a classic release.

What one thing did you absolutely love about Sega CD? What one thing did you dislike about Sega CD? Were you a "Sega kid" or "Nintendo kid"?
