Three New DLC Packs Announced for Shin Megami Tensei IV

To coincide with today’s Japanese release of Shin Megami Tensei IV, Atlus has announced three DLC packs as well. The DLC will most likely be available for North America when the game hits shelves on July 16th.

The first pack is a dressy white Samurai outfit that, in my opinion, looks great on the main character. A second DLC (this one completely free) lets the player change the protagonist’s hairstyle, give him glasses and even change his hair and eye color.

The last pack is an extra quest that takes you beyond the river Acheron (the same river you must traverse if you get a game over) and straight into Hell itself. Demons from Acheron will guide the protagonist to a special area that allows him to gain lots of experience points, aka level grinding heave–er hell. A downloadable content-only demon will also be available in this quest.
