Drool announced that HTC Vive (through SteamVR) and Oculus Rift (and Oculus Touch) support has been added to Thumper on PC. Players can play through all nine of the game’s levels in VR mode, or display the game in 2D from within the VR headset.

In DualShockers’ Editor’s Review Guide to PlayStation VR Games and Applicationswe recommended that players buy the PS4 version of the game (which supports PlayStation VR), saying that  VR is “Clearly the best way to experience the title; you simply get absorbed into the experience as you concentrate, trying not to miss any beat in the Audiosurf-esque gameplay loop.

In the same post on the game’s Steam Community, Drool promised that Thumper will receive future updates that will further fine tune the game’s VR experience, and add advanced video, control, and calibration settings to Thumper. The game is currently available on PC and PS4.
