Thumper originally launched on PlayStation 4 and PC back in October 2016. Now, the critically-acclaimed rhythm game is making its way to Xbox One, and we finally know on what date the game will launch.

Thumper will come to Xbox One on August 18. It's also possible that the game will be compatible with the Xbox One X upon the platform's release as Drool, Thumper's developer, states "we think Thumper looks amazing in native 4K" Drool has also noted that for this release, the team decided to take full advantage of the console's controller vibrations to slightly adjust with each maneuver the player makes.

Thumper is a rhythm game that takes classic rhythm mechanics and throws them at players at blinding speed. A VR version of the game has been released for PlayStation VR and through Steam.

Currently, Thumper is available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is currently priced at $19.99 on Steam and on the PlayStation Store. Although the Xbox One price has not yet been announced, it's likely that the game's purchase price will be around there.

Earlier this year, Drool announced that Thumper would be coming to Xbox One, along with an announcement of a vinyl release for the game's soundtrack. For more information on the game, you can visit the game's official website. You can also watch the game running on Xbox One in the trailer below.
