Time-bending FPS Superhot Gets Official PC Release on February 25, Xbox One in March

Superhot is a stylish, rather unique FPS title with origins in a massively successful Kickstarter campaign. The game plays with time, claiming that “time moves only when you do.” The game now has an official release date on PC, Mac and Linux platforms as February 25, 2016.

Xbox One users will have to wait a bit for Superhot, with the game coming “a few weeks later.”

Check out some new gameplay in the official announcement trailer:

No regenerating health bars. No conveniently placed ammo drops. It’s just you, outnumbered and outgunned, grabbing the weapons of fallen enemies to shoot, slice, and maneuver through a hurricane of slow-motion bullets.

From its origins in the 7 Day FPS game jam, to a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, and now an IGF and SXSW Gaming Awards finalist, the developers are incredibly grateful to the supporters who have helped to make SUPERHOT a reality.
