FuturLab, the developers behind titles such as Velocity 2X, have revealed that their upcoming slot car racing game Tiny Trax has gone gold, and that it will finally be releasing on PlayStation VR July 25.

For those that don’t know, saying a game has “gone gold” or “goes gold” comes from the term “gold master,” which is a version of the game deemed good enough to be shipped to store. This means development on Tiny Trax is done, and that the game is ready to be sold.

For those who don't know, Tiny Trax is a VR slot car racing game, and it is said to be the brainchild of game designer Dave Gabriel, who came up with the concept for Tiny Trax when he was a game tester at FuturLab. The title boasts online multiplayer for up to four players, and twelve tracks spread across three environments: Tropical, Fire & Ice, and Outer Space.

There are also six different vehicles for players to choose from. Tiny Trax also features music crafted by video game composer Joris de man, who has previously worked on titles such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, Killzone, and FuturLab's own Velcoity 2X.
