One of the complaints some players have about EVE Online is about the skin color restrictions applied to most of the bloodlines in the game. It does fit the lore, but some people want to be able to better identify with their characters, especially considering how advanced the character creator is in basically every other aspect.

CCP Games is going to address the problem with the Inferno free expansion that will be released o May the 22nd. Fourteen new skin tones will be added, allowing more freedom in customizing each bloodline's looks.

You will be able to have dark skinned Caldari Deteis, white skinned Minmatar Brutors, olive skinned Amarrs, and so forth, increasing the degree of diversity between each bloodline.

In order to allow everyone to take advantage of the new skin tones a "free resculpt" option will be granted, letting players redesign their characters from the ground up. Free resculpts don't stack, so if you already have one, you'll still have just one after the expansion hits.

Players that actually like their current skintone won't see any change, as all they need to do is to ignore the skintone wheel in the character creator as they use the free resculpt option, or not to use it at all.

My character's skin tone is fine as it is, but I welcome the chance to reduce my cheekbones a little...
